I know, I know, it’s not Friday and I am breaking the rule I just set last week. But I’m a little hard-pressed to blog about something right now, so here are some more comments.

Don’t mess with Tatlin and Malevich.

I wish it were real.

You guys spent waaaayyy too much money on this.

I want my 20 minutes back.

Apparently today’s theme is “Disgruntled Customers of the Center of Cosmic Energy.” In response to the “I wish it were real” comment, this exhibition is as real as you want it to be. The Kabakovs have a vision and we’ve built it – the rest is up to the viewer.

To go along with that message, one thing to take away from this exhibition is that there is no right or wrong answer to the question of “is this for real?”. Your knowledge of the Gallery and the actuality of The Center of Cosmic Energy aside, I think the real message behind the exhibition is that we are all encouraged to envision a world where cosmic energy is accessible, and where “utopia” can exist.
