Several visitors to the Gallery this week have asked, “What’s coming next?” The answer is the MFA Thesis Shows! We have two back-to-back shows, April 6-22 and May 3-20. The shows are the culmination of the joint degree program between Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (SMFA).

In the meantime, be sure to come by and see Edward Burtynsky, Jun Yang, and Altered States before they close on April 1.

The Tufts University Art Gallery has commissioned artists Ilya and Emilia Kabakov to create a new, conceptual art installation to open this coming September. The installation will be the first of its kind and will use both the Tisch and Koppelman Galleries.

To benefit this project, the Gallery is selling limited edition serigraphs of the proposed project, The Center for Cosmic Energy for $1,000 each. Prints can be ordered by calling the Gallery at 617-627-3518 or by emailing galleryinfo@tufts.edu.
